I've enjoyed every Jennifer Marsh mystery, but this one really carried me away. Fitzwater's style continues to transport me, sometimes against my will, to whimsical investigations that captivate me. JM's perspicatious nature not only allows me to speculate, but forces me to look deeper than the printed page for conclusions not in evidence. I found myself being drawn in deeper than usual, and that means the book/ story was a total success in keeping me interested and entertained. The long-awaited event has happened and the newlyweds - Jennifer and Sam - are off on a honeymoon worthy of the amateur sleuth and her new husband. Murder and mayhem and ghosts! Oh My! DYING AT HONEYMOON INN is delightful, as are all of the Jennifer mysteries, and author Judy Fitzwater offers up a twist or two you absolutely need to read. This is a top notch mystery - as is the whole series - if you haven’t met Fitzwater’s spunky heroine, you are in for a treat.
I LOVED the book and the weekend Sam and Jennifer had. As a fellow romantic, wish they could have their romance. If will happen in the next one I'm sure.
I was so excited to read another Jennifer Marsh book. I was not disappointed. I also love how the author combined the Jennifer Marsh story with the characters and setting from Vacationing with the Dead (another great story). I hope to see another book in this series soon!
